Making your very own bowl of shoyu ramen – from scratch! From the chashuu, to the soup base, and down to the noodles, this bowl of ramen is yours to create.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to mix the dough for the ramen noodles for the authentic chewy texture, but with the liberty to adjust the ratio of ingredients to your own preferred texture
  • How to treat, prepare, and tie the pork to achieve the iconic shape, and how to braise it for perfect tenderness
  • How to season the pork belly for authentic Japanese flavours
  • How to cook a shoyu soup base
  • How to make Ajitsuke Tamago (Ramen Egg with Lava Egg Yolk)
  • How to identify traditional ramen toppings and keep them fresh and flavorful.
