Dishes cooked in Donabe (Japanese earthenware pot) are known to come out flavourful and tender, due to the pot’s heat and moisture retention abilities. Learn how to fully utilise this traditional Japanese pot’s capabilities to create a flavourful one-pot meal. Also learn to pickle lotus root (Su Renkon) and cook Miso Soup for a complete, wholesome meal.

What you’ll learn:

  • How to use this earthenware pot on an induction stove
  • Time and temperature control for different ingredients to bring out the best flavours and tastes of each of them, including rice, meat, and mushrooms
  • How to prepare beef for cooking
