Some of our recipes for the adult courses contain pork and alcohol, and we serve alcohol on our premises.

- I have accessibility needs. Can I attend your class?
As Anatta Culinary Academy and our event spaces on Neil Road are located in a 3-storey heritage shophouse, it is unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair.
As an alternative, we offer Off-Site Chef Services, which includes a curated menu of recipes from our repertoire, and our Chefs will be happy to conduct classes for you at your desired location. - Are there courses for professional chefs?We welcome aspiring chefs of all levels to attend our courses! For a more advanced culinary level, you may consider taking our Masterclasses, which offer more intensive and complex lesson plans and recipes.

- What is the difference between private party classes and normal courses?With a minimum group size of six people, you can enjoy exclusive use of the fully equipped kitchen with a dedicated chef to teach you a menu of recipes. - Will I be entitled to a refund or replacement class if my child misses any of the course days?
Our Courses and Bootcamps are curated and developed to create an all-rounded learning experience. While each day’s menu is independent of one another, missing one day will discount the intended experience outcome. We encourage parents and guardians to make the necessary arrangements for their child to attend the full course of the Bootcamp with their new friends.
We are unfortunately unable to refund or replace the missed course day with another class on another day.
- How are the children’s courses conducted?The recipes and lesson plans curated and conducted by our experienced Chefs will bring the children through what each ingredient is and how to carry out each culinary process. The children will then be allowed to create the recipes on their own with their own portions under the experienced eye and guidance of our Chefs.
- My child has special needs. Can your Academy accommodate them?Our Chefs have experience creating a conducive learning environment for children with special needs. - Are your courses hands-on or demonstrations?We believe learning is best done through an interactive, hands-on experience. That’s why our Chefs are there to first demonstrate the steps of the recipe, before each student is provided with their own portions to go through the immersive process of learning the dishes step by step.

- Do I need to have prior experience in the kitchen to attend a course? What is the skill level of your courses?
Majority of our courses are catered to accommodate students of all levels, whether you have zero experience in the kitchen, or are a chef-by-training. This includes culinary courses for Corporate and private parties.
For our Children’s Courses, our lesson plans are curated for easy learning no matter their age or experience, and our Chefs are trained to bring our junior chefs effectively through the courses.
- What should I wear or bring with me?
For the safety of yourself and others, please wear flat, covered shoes to avoid the risk of tripping or dripping hot items onto your feet. We also recommend wearing comfortable clothing. These will allow you to feel more comfortable being on your feet and moving around the kitchen throughout the duration of the class.
Aprons, and all culinary equipment – including packaging to bring food home – will be provided. However, we encourage you to bring your own takeaway containers to do our part for the planet!
- How many people can one class accommodate?Each of our classes can start with a minimum of 4 people, and can accommodate up to 10 people for a public class, and 20 people for a private class, including Corporate Teambuilding Parties and Children Birthday Parties.

- Are the courses Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ)-certified?While the Academy is not WSQ-certified, in-house certificates for completed courses are available upon request.
- Are your courses conducted in English? Can I request for another language of instruction?All our courses are conducted in English. To accommodate the majority of our students, we are unable to offer instruction in another language. We are, however, able to accommodate special requests for another instructional language through our Chef Hire Services. - What if I have an allergy or dietary requirement?

- How long is a private party?There is a minimum booking period of 2 hours for a private birthday party.

Parents and guardians are welcome to decorate the space up to 30 minutes before the booking period at their own expense. - Can we bring snacks, birthday cake, and drinks for the children and the adults?For private parties, we welcome your own birthday cakes, but have snack packages that can be purchased at an additional cost. - Will there be enough to eat? Can we cater for more food? - How do I know if my booking is confirmed?Upon successful checkout of your desired course, you will receive an email confirmation. Should you not receive it, please email us at journey@anattaca.sg, drop us an enquiry form here, or Whatsapp us.
- Do you have a waiting list for fully booked classes?Yes! Simply click on the ‘Join Waiting List’ button and submit your email address, and we’ll notify you via email if a space frees up.
- Do you send reminders for classes?Yes! You should receive an email reminder to your registered email address two (2) days before your registered class date.
- What if I am late to my class?We’ll try our best to wait for everyone, but will start the class if majority of the students are present. We are unfortunately unable to provide a refund for a booked class, or conduct the class for you from the beginning, should you be unable to attend it without a prior notice of at least two (2) working days.
- What are your booking and cancellation policies? Can I request for a refund or transfer to another course if I cannot make it for my class? Can I cancel my booking?We understand that some appointments can be unforeseen. Therefore, we’re happy to accommodate a one-time rescheduling with at least one (1) week notice. As we need time to prepare the ingredients for the courses, we seek your understanding that we are unable to accommodate rescheduling requests with less than one (1) week in advance. You may choose another course in our list, or have the course price deposited into your account for later use. We unfortunately do not do refunds or accept cancellations. - What if I am the only one who signs up? If the minimum number of participants is not met, will the class be cancelled?Classes with our in-house Chef Instructors will commence even with 1 participant. However, for classes with our Guest Chefs, we require a minimum number of 4 participants for a course, the course will be cancelled or rescheduled with at least two (2) days notice to participants. Participants can choose to attend another course of similar value, or have the course price deposited into their account for later use.
- Can I sign up for multiple people?Yes, you can! Simply checkout the number of participants joining us, and remember to key in their names when carting out! This will allow us to track attendances.
- What is the age requirement for your courses?Our Adult Courses are recommended for students aged 12 and above. For our Children Courses, we can accommodate children aged 7 to 11 years. Children aged 4 to 6 years old have to be accompanied by an adult.

- Will I be entitled to a refund or replacement class if my child misses any of the course days?
Our Courses and Bootcamps are curated and developed to create an all-rounded learning experience. While each day’s menu is independent of one another, missing one day will discount the intended experience outcome. We encourage parents and guardians to make the necessary arrangements for their child to attend the full course of the Bootcamp with their new friends.
We are unfortunately unable to refund or replace the missed course day with another class on another day.
- What if there are problems during the class?We will request for parents or guardians to leave their mobile numbers with us when your children are dropped off, for emergency use. - How long can the kitchen be rented for?Our kitchen studios can be rented for a minimum of 3 hours, with the option to rent additional hours by the hour thereafter.
- Do I need to have prior experience in the kitchen to rent the kitchen?You do not need prior kitchen experience or knowledge to rent and utilise our kitchen studios.
- What equipment do we have access to?Our kitchen studios are fully equipped with ovens, induction stoves, microwave ovens, mixers, a combi oven, and a blast freezer. We also have an extensive range of kitchen utensils to suit any of your cooking or baking needs.
- Will there be anyone on site to assist me with the equipment?Our Chef will be on-site at the start of your booking to hand over the studio to you, and to show you how to use the equipment and appliances. You are welcome to enjoy private use of the kitchen studio thereafter. Should you require a chef, our experienced chefs are available for hire at an additional cost.
- What if I damage the equipment or facilities?Please care for our equipment and appliances like you would yours.
- Is there a cleaner to clean up?You are not required to wash the utensils used, but we ask that the kitchen be returned to us in the same pristine condition it was handed over.

As Anatta Culinary Academy and our event spaces on Neil Road are located in a 3-storey heritage shophouse, it is unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair.

As Anatta Culinary Academy and our event spaces on Neil Road are located in a 3-storey heritage shophouse, it is unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair.
As an alternative, we offer Off-Site Chef Services, which includes a curated menu of recipes from our repertoire, and our Chefs will be happy to conduct classes for you at your desired location. - Can I create a bespoke event? Can I customise my own party menu? We have specific team building requirements for our Corporate Team Building workshop. Can we customise our programmes?We’d love to be able to make your plans come true. - Will there be anyone on site to assist me with the equipment?Our Chef will be on-site at the start of your booking to hand over the studio to you, and to show you how to use the equipment and appliances. You are welcome to enjoy private use of the kitchen studio thereafter. Should you require a chef, our experienced chefs are available for hire at an additional cost.
- Will there be enough to eat? Can we cater for more food? Can we bring an external caterer?While we promise each curated recipe will provide a great and fulfilling meal, should you wish to have additional food for your guests, we provide a selection of decadent 3-course meals, or snack packages, at an additional charge.

- What type of drinks are available? Can we bring our own spirits & alcohols?Complimentary unlimited servings of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate and orange juice for the young ones, and water, will be served. We also have a menu of wines for your choosing at an additional cost. Should you wish to bring your own bottles of spirits and alcohols, there is a corkage charge per bottle.
